Tereza Vecerkova
Tereza is a PhD student at the Membrane Protein Laboratory (MPL) and electron Bio-Imaging Centre (eBIC) at Diamond Light Source, and the Centre for Medicines Discovery at the University of Oxford. She utilises structural biology techniques to study selected Batten disease proteins, with a special focus on CLN7. She is currently utilising cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM) and in vitro functional assays to increase the disease understanding on a molecular level.
