Christopher Minnis

I'm an early career researcher passionate about genetics and epidemiology. I completed my MSc in Epidemiology and received my PhD in CLN3 disease from UCL in 2019. Since then, I've been researching CLN3 disease and other lysosomal disorders at the Institute of Child Health. My research aims to understand the genetic basis of these conditions, identify new treatment approaches, and explore potential therapies. I've contributed to several research projects and published numerous scientific articles in leading academic journals. I've also presented my research at national and international conferences, which has been an exciting opportunity to share my findings with others in the field. Science communication is one of my passions, and I regularly participate in outreach activities and science fairs to engage with the public and inspire the next generation of researchers. I also enjoy connecting with colleagues and followers on social media to discuss current research trends and topics. Overall, I'm dedicated to advancing knowledge and improving health outcomes for patients with lysosomal disorders. I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had so far in my career and look forward to continuing to contribute to the scientific community in meaningful ways.
