Destiny K Aranovitch
Destiny is an early career researcher currently completing her PhD. She graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) in 2023 from The University of Queensland and currently works as a paediatric acute care nurse along side her research studies. Her special research interests are paediatric disease and stem cell research. Her previous honours project investigated seizure patterns on EEG recordings of neonates with various brain injuries. For her PhD she is investigating stem cell models of childhood brain disorders and drug repurposing to treat blood-brain barrier dysfunction.
